The Risk were surprisingly good in week one. And then, er, that was it.Radhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17031764260176803659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15546688.post-83516597578722778632011-11-09T14:54:36.595+00:002011-11-09T14:54:36.595+00:00Johnny in drag was a missed opportunity. I wasn...Johnny in drag was a missed opportunity. I wasn't bothered at all about The Risk going, as I never got why anyone thought they were any good anyway. Then again, there are lots of rumours that they're going to bring some constestants back because of the ArseTAT drama.

Speaking of which, they have monumentally messed up with ArseTAT haven't they? Up to the first two live shows they were trying to paint him as some great rockstar bad boy, but he finished bottom 2 in the first public vote. Since then it became more and more obvious that he couldn't sing and that he was losing any interest he might have had in being there, but at this point he kept getting voted through on the public vote. Now he's been kicked off, which looks like it'll cause problems for how the rest of the series will run. It's kind of funny in a way, as it serves them right for all the manipulation they do.

On a more positive note, this was a good recap, and I love Florence too.fusednoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15546688.post-4148978090356016562011-11-09T10:37:57.903+00:002011-11-09T10:37:57.903+00:00Kylie OR: Yes, you're right, there is an irony...Kylie OR: Yes, you're right, there is an irony there. Louis, Nicole and/or Dannii will have to sacrifice their place (probably Louis). Or we have five judges. Or a rolling system.Radhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17031764260176803659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15546688.post-78035589115569880272011-11-08T18:39:38.684+00:002011-11-08T18:39:38.684+00:00Great recap, I read it in on my phone while sittin...Great recap, I read it in on my phone while sitting in the train and I literally had to bite my lips in order not to burst out laughing :D But I found the show itself quite dull and the vote disappointing...(I'll miss Johnny!! And it's just wrong that Kitty was in the bottom two again given she's one of thefew decent singers this series has) I didn't like the sugablokes, don't get me wrong, but they weren't torturing my ears too much unlike some acts that are still in the competition... and at least they were more interesting than biscuit boy who for me is the incarnation of unlimited dullness. I'd really like to see him go as soon as possible (the imagination of a bixmix - Marcus - biscuit top three gives me nightmares! Though unfortunately it sounds quite likely...)
But one notice more: how could you not include future head judge Alexandra Burke in your suggested panel? She would make everything just perfect :)Mainoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15546688.post-30951204435322508582011-11-08T18:17:51.506+00:002011-11-08T18:17:51.506+00:00Well, he's gone now, which is kind of a shame ...Well, he's gone now, which is kind of a shame in a way. Not least because it makes the prospect of a Funsponge Borelow's funtime four-hour final with just Marcus and Craig Biscuit. I like Marcus fine, but hell to the no on that one.Radhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17031764260176803659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15546688.post-25578999412986221902011-11-08T17:36:26.431+00:002011-11-08T17:36:26.431+00:00I think Frankie has become the anti-joke act. I recall from watching Jedward that I hated them when they first came on but as the weeks went by it became all about the performance and being batshit crazy and totally non-selfaware (or at least that's what it appeared to be). And Jedward at least always looked like they wanted to be there.

ArseTAT, I'm sure he could sing a little to begin with, and had a slight stage presense but now...I'm going to start a campaign to keep him in because he clearly doesn't want to stay any more. He's gotten what he wanted, fame, I'd quite like to turn it around on him and make him suffer by being hated because he's still in and Johnny/Kitty/BixMix/Marcus/thatOtherOne gets kicked out.

Fingers crossed for a massive cheer when he's booted, there's no way he could survive a sing off, could he?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15546688.post-309422446554510662011-11-08T16:20:24.901+00:002011-11-08T16:20:24.901+00:00Poor Johnny! Louis's 'crying' at the end was the worst piece of acting I've ever seen (and I watch Neighbours religiously) - especially when it came right before Johnny tried to hug him, and Louis basically responded "Don't touch me or I'll cut you, bitch." Johnny deserved better than having to pretend to admire Louis. I like Kitty, but now I want her to go just so Louis will shut up.StuckInABookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10017836017530130716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15546688.post-12734405300389038122011-11-08T15:47:15.926+00:002011-11-08T15:47:15.926+00:00I was pretty surprised at The Risk being the shock...I was pretty surprised at The Risk being the shock boot too! I'm really going to miss Johnny. This show is going to get very boring very soon, I fear. Frankie has been booted so there's nobody to shake my fist at and cause me to despair of the GBP when he gets through; Kitty's days are clearly numbered (boo) and Johnny's gone. I'm not overly bothered by anyone who's left - though Marcus makes me smile.Yvienoreply@blogger.com
